Sunday, April 1st, 2040: The 2040 Cooperstown Diamond Legends amateur draft pool has been officially released and a mad frenzy of scouting, strategizing and actual drafting unfolds over the course of the next month. Some teams will pick the top names while others will go with less expensive, unknown commodities. Regardless of the strategy, clubs one and all will be making their final decisions in thirty days time.
A draft exclusive is available under the league's transaction section, which will be available for thirty days prior to the draft.

Sunday, April 1st, 2040: The season is about to start, so it's time for Baseball America to publish the annual Top 100 Prospects list. This year 22-year-old catcher Murray Barton of the New York (A) Yankees is the #1 prospect overall.
