Monday, April 1st, 2052: Cooperstown Diamond Legends officials have today announced the list of players eligible for the 2052 first-year player draft. Teams now have a chance to scout the draft pool for 75 days before the draft is held.
Also, the Transactions page gets a new section dedicated to the pool.
The top players available (in no particular order) seem to be:
1. Júlio López, 17 year-old catcher out of high-school.
2. Alex Washington, 21 year-old center fielder out of college.
3. Luis De Jesús, 18 year-old first baseman out of high-school.
4. Ed Price, 20 year-old third baseman out of college.
5. Kevin Fielding, 22 year-old starting pitcher out of college.
6. José García, 21 year-old left fielder out of college.
7. Emílio Morales, 20 year-old left fielder out of college.
8. Chris Blake, 17 year-old center fielder out of high-school.
9. Tores Barnab, 17 year-old starting pitcher out of high-school.
10. Lorenzo Valverde, 21 year-old right fielder out of college.

Monday, April 1st, 2052: The season is about to start, so it's time for Baseball America to publish the annual Top 100 Prospects list. This year 21-year-old starting pitcher Terry Hawkins of the Los Angeles Dodgers is the #1 prospect overall.
Here is the top 10:
