Friday, July 29th, 2039: Júlio Sandoval, shortstop for the Pittsburgh Pirates, was making great progress in healing a stiff back according to a team spokesman, but then he suffered a setback yesterday. "Júlio was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 5 days before he will be able to rejoin the club."
In 59 games Sandoval is hitting .353 this season with 78 hits, 7 home runs, 34 RBIs, 33 walks, .431 OBP and has scored 40 runs. | |
