 | Monday, June 24th, 2030: Bell to Miss 2 Weeks It took the Philadelphia team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Arnold Bell won't simply play through a tight labrum muscle after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Marlins-Phillies game. At first, it looked like Bell might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 2 weeks. This year Bell has pitched 16 innings over 15 relief appearances, picking up no saves and held opponents to a .262 average. Bell has a 0-1 record with a 3.94 ERA and 10 strikeouts. |
