 | Saturday, June 29th, 2030: Braves Reichenbach Injured Ralph Reichenbach at first refused to leave today's Los Angeles-Atlanta game after he suffered a strained pectoral muscle while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Atlanta reliever said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Reichenbach out of action for 2 weeks. So far this year Reichenbach has been credited with 1 save, registered a 2.68 ERA and struck out 31 in 40.1 innings. He also has a 2-1 record. |
