 | Monday, July 1st, 2030: National League Names Rookie of Month A boyish Dave Wagner emerged as the latest National League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Montreal deserved the honor, batting .349 with 6 home runs and 20 RBI. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Wagner enjoy the limelight. This season Wagner has banged out 84 hits in 290 at-bats for a .290 average with 14 home runs.
