Sunday, July 7th, 2030: 5 Hits for Brewers Davis
If the Baltimore Orioles know how best to pitch the Milwaukee right fielder Ron Davis they didn't tip their hand today. Instead Davis showed he knew how best to hit them as he easily handled Orioles pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Brewers to a 13-9 triumph at Miller Park.

He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball."

The Baltimore skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we may just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure."

R. Davis singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off P. Torres in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 8th, hit a solo-shot off K. Yabu in the 9th and walked in the 10th.

Davis is batting .345 this season in 73 games with 25 home runs, 73 RBIs and 73 runs scored. He has 106 hits in 307 at-bats.
