 | Monday, July 22nd, 2030: NL Names Best Player Once you hit 35, it's hard to say how much time you've got left in baseball. Prince Fielder has been fortunate as his numbers for the past week bear out. The 37-year-old first baseman, a favorite in the Montreal Expos clubhouse, hit .500 last week as he put up Player of the Week numbers. Fielder also put together 8 hits in 16 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs for the week. So far this season Fielder has 21 home runs and a .278 batting average. |
