He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Borja of the San Diego Padres did against the New York (N) Mets. He went to the plate 7 times and 7 times he delivered base hits, much to the chagrin of the Mets, who suffered a 26-4 defeat. "Not much that I can say," offered the losing manager, "he just hammered the heck out of us." C.
