 | Tuesday, August 20th, 2030: Irate Mack Suspended 3 Games Colorado catcher Bill Mack was ejected in the game between the Rockies and Mets for letting loose a profanity-laced tirade against the home plate umpire after some calls didn't go the way he wanted. Mack was incensed in the loss to New York (N) and was just as angry after the game. "These guys are a joke. How can people expect to take this game seriously when you have games like this?" Mack said in the locker room after the game. Now Mack must face the consequences of this actions. League officials released this brief statement to the media: "We are regretful that Mack has taken this to the level that it has reached. The league will not tolerate this type of conduct. Due to his actions during and after the game, the league is suspending him for 3 games." This season Mack is batting .232 with 62 RBIs, 43 runs scored and 15 home runs. |
