 | Friday, August 23rd, 2030: Boston's Brooks Sidelined for Season The season is ending on a bad note for Darryl Brooks, shortstop for the Boston Red Sox. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Brooks was hurt against the New York (A) Yankees while throwing the ball. He suffered a torn rotator cuff muscle and will be out for at least 3 months. To date this year Brooks is batting .279 with 14 home runs. |
