 | Sunday, September 1st, 2030: McFall Takes Best Bat Award in August To survive in the bigs, you've got to be a scrapper like Brian McFall. It never pays to take a day off from the batting cages or to shrug off the advice of the hitting coach. It all paid off today as San Diego's center fielder pinned down the National League Batter of the Month trophy today. He hit .384 in August collecting 10 home runs, 23 RBIs and 23 runs scored. So far this season McFall is hitting .293 with 27 home runs, 86 RBIs and 94 runs scored. He has 151 hits in 515 at-bats and a .381 OBP. |
