 | Sunday, September 1st, 2030: Cubs Hurler Named NL's #1 Starter Whether Loren Adams stays in Chicago (N) beyond this season remains to be seen, but while he's here he's making the most of it. In August the 29-year-old certainly pulled out all the stops by winning the National League Pitcher of the Month award. He put up some fancy numbers with a 6-0 record and and an ERA of 3.32. In 40.2 innings he struck out 27, surrendered 31 hits, 25 walks and proved to be a solid performer in 6 starts last month. In 30 starts this season Adams has compiled a 14-8 record and a 3.86 ERA. |
