Another exciting season of CDLAAA baseball is behind us, but there won't be time for reminiscing. Like everything else in baseball, the offseason is a time for action. Roster and financial moves, trade proposals and the upcoming winter meetings are all demanding the attention of general managers. While players head for well-deserved vacations, GMs across CDL International League are already hard at work determining the next steps for their team.

The streets are alive with people and the confetti is flying. The Colorado Springs Sky Sox have done it -- they won the 2031 CDL International League Series. The Sky Sox defeated the Oklahoma RedHawks 6-4 at Colorado Springs Grounds to take the title. Colorado Springs took the series 4-2 for their 2nd CDL International League championship.
After the game, the victorious Sky Sox manager told the secret to his team's great season and CDL International League Series triumph, "The harder you work, the luckier you get," he said. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm the luckiest guy in the world today."
The new champions finished first in the regular season with a 85-45 record in the CDL International League East CDLAAA Division 4. |  | Sunday, September 7th, 2031: Hunt Whitewashes Ottawa In an impressive outing, Jed Hunt whitewashed the Ottawa Lynx 4-0.
"I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Hunt, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion.
"It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took."
The Oklahoma hurler held Ottawa scoreless, allowed 3 hits, chalked up 5 strikeouts and yielded no walks.
Up to now Hunt has recorded a record of 11-3. In 18 starts he has fanned 70 batters in 135.2 innings with a 2.45 ERA. | | | | |
