| Breaking News | | Tuesday, September 24th, 2030: League Suspends Orioles Rivero 3 Games Baltimore Orioles third baseman Carlos Rivero was suspended 3 games by the league commissioner today, a day after arguing his ejection during a game against the Oakland Athletics.
"I think the 3 games are a little harsh," Rivero said.
He was ejected by plate umpire for arguing balls and strikes.
After his ejection, Rivero went into the dugout, then came back on the field, argued with the umpire and had to be restrained by coaches and teammates. The suspension was issued for "unbecoming conduct and returning to the field of play after being dismissed."
Rivero has collected 132 hits for the Orioles this year, 9 of them home runs. He has also netted 59 RBIs and scored 58 runs while batting .251. | | Friday, September 6th, 2030: Detroit's García Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits José García really did a number on the Orioles in the Detroit 12-5 victory.
