Wednesday, September 18th, 2030: Mets Carrillo Lost for Year
Lúcio Carrillo will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and stated the New York (N) starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Carrillo was injured while throwing a pitch in the Mets-Cubs clash at Shea Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a tight rotator cuff muscle and would be out a minimum of 2-3 weeks.

This season Carrillo has worked 242.2 innings with 157 strikeouts en route to a 17-13 record and a 2.89 ERA.
Monday, September 2nd, 2030: Choo Selected Top Performer in NL
At the age of 33, Shin-Soo Choo might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The New York (N) center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days collecting the National League Player of the Week Award.

He racked up 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games.

Choo is hitting at a .263 mark this season. His stats show 29 home runs, 77 RBIs and 109 runs scored. He has played 135 games for the Mets.
Sunday, August 18th, 2030: New York (N)'s Choo Gets 2000th Hit
Mets center fielder Shin-Soo Choo never thought his name would be associated with some of the great players in league history. Now that he has reached the 2000-hit threshold, that's all but guaranteed. Choo collected his big hit in a 9-4 loss to Colorado.

Afterward, he thought about the achievement: "Overwhelmed," he said. "That's how I feel about it right now."

Choo went 1-3 for the game.

Choo's career batting average stands at .310, and he has 410 home runs.
