In the latest churning of the rumor mill, reports indicate that 37-year-old reliever Chase Wright of the Round Rock Express could be on the trading block. While the player refused to comment, the team did not outright deny the claims. "If it'll help this team, we'll make a move," said one team official.

So far in his young career, Larry Stanley has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the CDL International League West in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 24-year-old Round Rock Express first baseman hit at a torrid .467 clip as he collected 14 hits in 30 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
Stanley is currently batting .289 with 11 home runs and 54 RBIs.

| Tuesday, July 23rd, 2030: Stanley Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
Larry Stanley really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Ballpark of Round Rock, the Round Rock first baseman blistered the Buffalo Bisons for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 13-6 victory.
"Stanley was too tough to get out today," the Bisons skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
L. Stanley hit a solo-shot off M. Servia in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off M. Lindstrom in the 8th.
This year Stanley has socked 88 hits in 303 at-bats for a .290 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .358 pace and his totals also include 54 RBIs and 46 runs scored.
