Monday, June 24th, 2030: CDL International League East Hitter of the Week
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the CDL International League East, but last week Francisco Lamudio of the Scranton Wilkes Barre Yankees reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week.

Lamudio rocked opposing pitching for a .474 average (9-19), 2 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award.

This season Lamudio has hit at a .285 clip with 35 RBIs, 6 home runs and 29 runs scored. He has played in 51 games.
Friday, June 21st, 2030: Hunter 5-5 for Scranton Wilkes Barre
Scranton Wilkes Barre right fielder Brian Hunter could do no wrong in today's 16-2 win over the Bats as he collected 5 hits.

"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Bats said to the press corps after the game.

Hunter agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

B. Hunter singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and walked in a run in the 8th.

In 2030 Hunter has put up a .228 batting average with 64 hits, 7 home runs and 29 RBIs.
