| Breaking News |  | Thursday, September 26th, 2030: Triple Crown for Juan Miranda
When it came to hitting the baseball, Juan Miranda had few peers in the American League this year. The gifted left fielder for Milwaukee led the league in hitting, home runs and runs batted in to capture the 1st Triple Crown in CDL history.
He put up a .359 average, 54 home runs and 167 RBIs during the 2030 campaign. A truly historic performance.
Speaking to reporters, Miranda said, "I'd be happy to lead the league in just one of these categories... to win all three... makes this an extra special season."

| Monday, September 16th, 2030: AL Star of the Week Chosen
His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Juan Miranda was rewarded with the American League Player of the Week honors.
The scrappy Milwaukee Brewers left fielder hit .478 while collecting 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs and 11 RBIs.
Miranda's current batting average stands at .354 and he has chalked up 52 home runs and 158 RBIs.

Sources close to the Milwaukee Brewers report that reliever Eric Rhein will retire once the season is over.
Rhein's lifetime stats include 68 wins and 67 losses with 151 saves. He has posted a 4.29 ERA and recorded 721 strikeouts in 1110.1 innings.
